About Illuminous Publishing

Located in beautiful Portland, Oregon, Illuminous Publishing is a cooperative publishing house created in 2010 by Yvonne Aileen, a 20-year writer, Web entrpreneur and marketing professional who, after writing her first book, noticed a gap in the publishing cycle: something between self-publishing, which leaves the author on his or her own to figure out the marketing, distribution and sales, and traditional publishing houses, which are closed to all but top-name authors. She developed Illuminous Publishing as a cooperative publishing house to fill that gap.

Ms. Aileen decided to focus on projects that will better the world through quality works of enlightenment and transformation, launching Illuminous, as she said, "to be a Hay House for those who can't get into Hay House" and to offer a voice to authors who may otherwise go unheard.
